...Do not worry beforehand about what to say. Just say whatever is given you at the time, for it is not you speaking, but the Holy Spirit. Mark 13:10

The Great Commission tells us to go and make disciples of all nations. How are we to go into all the nations and preach the gospel when sometimes it seems impossible to even reach one? When God calls us to witness we become like Moses and say “But God, I don't know how to speak.” This verse is a promise that will quiet our fears.

Do not worry about what you are to say. Don't allow the enemy to deceive you into thinking you couldn't be used. Don't allow his lies to cripple you with fear. Why would God call you to do something you’re not capable of? If God is going to throw you into a situation that you aren't familiar with do you honestly believe he would just leave you to fend for yourself when he promises that he is always with us?

Just whatever is given you at the time ¡V you don't have to have a distinct list of verses that you simply recite to witness. Sometimes the only thing you can go on is the story of what God has done in your life. When you begin to step in faith and open your mouth about the truth of God the power that is behind that truth will fill you and the Holy Spirit will act as a clarifier. It is important to know what the Bible does say but it is not enough to just rattle them off without telling how they have worked in your life. You are a living testament to his word use your story if you don't have anything else at your disposal.

Remember that when you step in faith and go to make disciples of the world the Holy Spirit will use you. Taking a step forward even if we only seem to blunder through the tale of the gospel in our lives is much better than not taking a step at all and staying silent in fear. That is exactly what the enemy wants us to be ¡V fearful. He wants us to doubt ourselves and the power of the Holy Spirit or our worthiness to be vessels.

We already know we have been chosen and called. When people are called into the service don't you think they are given training and don't you think they are shown what to do in certain situations? In the same way, because you have been called God will equip you with his word and with his spirit. Remember you are just a vessel for the Holy Spirit to use.

It’s almost as if God is asking us to go and make a crop of an entire plantation, we fret because it is so large and forget that it happens a seed at a time. Remember that stepping in faith and speaking your story is you sprinkling the seeds. Don't fear or think you have to water those seeds; the Holy Spirit will take care of that. You don't have to have a memorized script, step in faith and follow where God leads. When you step in faith even if you think what you have said or done is wrong the fact that you have gone forward and trusted God to make it work he will direct you. There is great power in the Holy Spirit and remember that power so that you may conquer your fear and so that you will answer the call.

Dear Lord,
We thank you for the strong power you give us in your Holy Spirit. Help us not to be deceived and frozen with fear. Lord have your spirit go before us and prepare the hearts of those we are to witness to. Help our words and our actions to be a testament of you. Make our light shine so that we might bring you glory. As we sprinkle seeds all over this earth we pray that your holy spirit will cultivate them and make them grow. Remind us of our own story and equip us with your word so that your power might be shown. Thank you Lord, Amen.
