Crayons for Jesus believes most strongly in the authority of the Bible and recognizes it as the only truth concerning faith. It is the foundation of all of our beliefs and against it all should be tested (1 Thessalonians 5:21 ). We recognize the Bible and believe it to be the only true word of God that is useful for teaching and is what equips us to truly follow Him (2 Timothy 3:16-17 ).

We recognize the Holy Trinity as the governing body of the Church; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We believe that all Christians receive the gift of the Holy Spirit at salvation.

We believe that there is but one way to God. That is through Jesus Christ, His one and only son. Christ came as a fulfillment of the prophecies of God from the Old Testament to save us from our sins and give us eternal life. (John 14:6 ) and (1 John 5:11-13 ).

Salvation is something that cannot be earned. It is given to us by grace and grace alone. (Ephesians 2:8 ) Christ lived a perfect life in order to be an atoning sacrifice for the sins of all mankind. (Romans 5:8 ) He willingly handed up his body to crucifixion and was raised from the dead three days later. (1 Corinthians 15:3-6 )

We must receive Christ as our savior and the Lord of our lives by faith. (Ephesians 2:8-9 ). Through this, all believers form one family, which is the body of Christ. (John 1:12 ) We also believe that all Christians receive the gift of the Holy Spirit at salvation.

He defeated death and the grave and ascended into heaven where he now sits at the right hand of the Father. (Colossians 3:1-4 ). Jesus Christ is the same today, yesterday, and forever and His Spirit is what guides us. (Hebrews 13:8 ) and (John 14:26 ).

Crayons for Jesus firmly believes that Christ will come again for His church. Until then, we must always be watching and ready, patiently waiting and selflessly serving.
