My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so they might have the riches of complete understanding in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Colossians 2:2-3
The Mission Statement for Crayons for Jesus is to bring hope and salvation to the lost and to spur growth in the daily walk of the saints. The daily writings and resources are designed to encourage and unite Christ’s family and reveal the treasures that a walk with Christ produces. The goal is to help new believers build a strong foundation and then continue to draw nearer with each day to God. God’s will is for each of us to have an intimate relationship with him and one where his will is done for our good. God has called us to be part of his family and we can each be shown the purpose for our lives through a relationship with him. We all have the opportunity to experience true love, joy, peace, and hope through a relationship with Jesus. He loved us so much that he died for us and through him we can die to sin and rise to life. Even if we haven't deserved it, his grace is sufficient. God wants to show us his plan and use us for his will. In the same way that an artist might use a crayon to create a masterpiece, God can use us. We can all be crayons for Jesus in the big box that is the world. We are all specifically designed to do something for him. We may be designed a red crayon to color an apple, or a blue one to color the sky; but we all have a purpose, regardless as to what it is or what it's for. There's a reason for all of us to be here. We are all called to do different things and we all have the opportunity to have a relationship with God. It is our continued prayer that you will be shown your purpose and be granted the riches that come from knowing the mystery of Christ. Our prayer is that his will be revealed to you and for your relationship with him to flourish. …We have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light.
